We Moved! Welcome to the Saucy Kitchen!

My apologies for my hiatus from the blog lately…  There has been SO much going on in recent months that I have neglected my blog quite a bit, but I promise to try to be a C- blogger again!  <3

Maybe even A+?!

Who knows?!?!

A few updates:

  1. I started a new job in January, & I LOVE IT!  This role is definitely a new challenge for me which is why some of my extra-curricular activities have suffered, but I finally have a bit of a balance back in my life now, so be looking for more posts from me!
  2. We moved!  Tyler & I moved into our new apartment in Uptown Charlotte in May, & everything is 99% finished.  It’s literally 1 mile away from our old place & even on the same street, but we desperately needed more space.  Tyler, unfortunately, had most of his clothes in the storage unit downstairs, so we knew that apartment (while gorgeous) was going to be temporary for us…  I recently saw a meme that said, “Sometimes I want to completely redo my apartment, & then I realize 1 pillow costs $30…”  This is absolutely true!  Ahh!  Why is all of the good stuff so expensive?!  Because this new apartment has so much more space (Yay!), Tyler & I had to purchase A LOT to create the home we wanted…  Luckily, the budgeter in me began creating our strategy in February (Yes, I have an Excel document to prove it!).  I can’t wait to share the final results with you all in my next few posts.  Feel free to shop my products! (Also, if you’re in the Charlotte/Greenville area, our housewarming will be in August, so HIT ME UP!)

Here is where we moved!  Check out their website to see the amazing amenities…  We are incredibly happy in our new apartment community & are excited to start this new journey through life together at Museum Tower!

I recently polled my IG followers (@clarkawickliffe – Follow me!) to see which room you all wanted to see FIRST on this blog series, & the kitchen was the winner!  My previous apartment was completely monochromatic (white/black/grey); however, Tyler & I decided to add the color ‘camel’ to the mix for this apartment space to make it a little warmer…  See how many camel-colored objects you can spot throughout this series!

Check out how we decorated & organized our kitchen below:
