Sparkle in Louboutin

“The fact is, sometimes it’s really hard to walk in a single woman’s shoes. That’s why we need really special ones now & then to make the walk a little more fun…”

– Carrie Bradshaw

As you might suspect, these Christian Louboutin‘s are my absolute FAVORITE shoes in my entire closet…  Worn with my custom Gregory Ellenburg gown at Miss SC USA, I will always have a special place in my heart for this beautiful fashion accessory.

I created this look because, for the working woman, it transitions extremely well from a day at the office to a quick evening drink with that cute guy who likes all of your Instagram photos… <3

The contrasting burgundy skirt & blue linen top really create a beautiful variation within this outfit…  I personally love mixing metals, so this mixed metal statement necklace from Stella & Dot goes perfectly with the textures in my classic red soles…  I kept it neutral with my favorite camel jacket from Michael Kors (no longer available, but I suggested a similar coat below) to keep the colors focused on the burgundy from the skirt.  Enjoy!

“A shoe is not only a design, but it’s a part of your body language, the way you walk. The way you’re going to move is quite dictated by your shoes.”

– Christian Louboutin

This is a fantastic oiutft!! Looking beautiful as always 🙂 I would never be able to put something like that together! I’m currently asking other bloggers to style me for my ‘I’ll be your Barbie’ project – if you have some spare time, I would be totally honoured if you’d like to give it a go (as I’m in such desperate need of it!)x
