Effortless Errands

It was so much fun chatting with this fashionista while choosing which products to feature on #TheChicW.  Can’t wait to work with her again soon!  Before we dive into the second look from my collaboration with Annie Diamantidis, let me tell you a little about this amazing designer…

Born in Chicago, Annie moved to the Greek island of Chios at the young age of five. Having limited resources on an island, her mother who was a seamstress taught her to be resourceful. Annie was able to learn first-hand how to create items that were one-of-a-kind. A year later, she returned back to the United States where she now calls home, but Annie still travels to Greece regularly.

In her senior year at DePaul University, Annie landed an internship with one of Chicago’s leading jewelry designer’s called Lana Bramlette. After graduation, Annie was hired immediately as head of sales in the Midwest region. After three years, determined to start her own label, she took a few years off to travel & visit several different tanneries & manufacturers in destinations such as Italy, Greece & Turkey. Along the way, she was able to find treasures that she later incorporated onto her handbags & accessories.

Annie Handbags® was featured throughout the final season of the hit show Gossip Girl & Annie herself made a guest appearance as a “handbag expert” on the new hit reality show filmed in her hometown of Chicago called “Hardcore Pawn”.

From a collection of exotic crocodile, python, ostrich, & stingray in bright bold colors & finished with genuine 14k gold hardware, Annie Diamantidis is known for using the most luxurious materials on her handcrafted accessories. Whether it’s her exotic collection or leather line, each design fuses femininity & contemporary style with exotic materials & unexpected hues creating timeless treasures…

Her designs can be found in luxury boutiques & hotels nationwide such as the Trump Hotel & Tower Chicago, Roseark in Santa Monica, & Avedon in Beverly Hills to name a few.

This look was shot on my way to the store to purchase some of my favorite, healthy treats from Trader Joe’s!  Always a fun place to gather some goodies… <3  Orange is the perfect color palette for Summer (especially for a Clemson alumna like myself)!  This breezy top with built-in support was perfect for this warm day accompanied by my favorite light wash boyfriend jeans & neutral gladiator sandals (All from Victoria’s Secret)!

Feel free to endulge yourself with the luxurious Damia Satchel by Annie featured in bone (also available in black). This beauty is handcrafted from rich calfskin & enhanced with gold-plated hardware. Complete with hidden front pockets & zipper pulls made of tassels (obsessed) & rich pleats, this is the perfect satchel for keeping all of your essentials big or small while staying super stylish and on-trend.  This handbag is finished with double handles, detachable/adjustable shoulder strap, zip top closure, & cell phone pocket.  In love…

This look is finished off with a black & white snakeskin wrap bracelet with snaps & a multi-colored rumor ring also by the fabulous Annie Diamantidis

OMG awesome haul! I love Nordstrom Rack. We have one too but I haven’t been there in a while due to the dilifcufty of taking baby around. But I have found some unbelievable steals at our NR. I loooove the handbag you found! That is an expensive brand at regular price, and one of my favorites. The color is perfect! Also, dyyying over the gloves!
